Here’s a brief timeline of the Spigot story:
2000
Spigot Systems was incorporated as a cabling company by owner Dave Redmore.
2011
To reflect an expanded business model, Spigot Systems rebranded as Spigot Networks to better communicate our focus on computer networking and business communications services.
2018
Elon.Cloud was created as a new, separate, corporation specifically focused on expanding our managed hosted services including hosted VoIP telephony systems and web hosting, as well as specialized hosted systems such as secure FTP services.
2007
Broadening our capabilities, Spigot Systems moves from being a cabling company into providing full IT and systems support and installation and also deploys it’s first VoIP telephony systems – one of the first companies in the area to commercially deploy VoIP solutions.
2015
Spigot Networks merged with Voice Systems Services, bringing together two companies with highly complementary capabilities. Voice Systems Service brought expertise in large scale telephone system deployments while Spigot brought our experience in newer VoIP technologies.
Spigot Networks has been helping businesses make better technology decisions since 2000 – back when we started as a cabling company. Today, as always, we work hard to create strong relationships with our clients -- relationships that grow into true partnerships. Because we work across so many different technologies and environments, we provide a big-picture perspective that benefits you whether you work for a large industry, a medium-sized company, or a small non-profit agency. Our goal is to apply our unique skill set to help you identify your needs, evaluate options, select a technology strategy, and then integrate that strategy into your business model. Perhaps most importantly, we then help you maintain your system and stand ready to help you – quickly – if problems arise.
